The Southern Dermatology Story
Meet the clinic, the people and the care philosophy behind every consultation.
A personalised consultation with the Southern Dermatology team to assess your skin, discuss your concerns about expression lines, and explore evidence-based, non-surgical options suited to you. No two faces are the same.
Adults 18 years and over only ยท Results are not guaranteed and vary between individuals
Over time, natural facial expressions, environmental factors and ageing all play a part in how lines form on the forehead, around the eyes and mouth, and between the brows. If you've noticed lines becoming more defined, or your skin feeling less smooth than it once did, you're not alone.
At Southern Dermatology, our approach is evidence-based and centred on skin health while preserving natural expression. It isn't about erasing age. It's about a considered, personalised plan, with every option and risk explained before any decision is made.
If any of the below sound familiar, a consultation can help you understand your options, with no obligation to proceed.
Horizontal lines across the forehead that form over time through natural facial expression.
Lines between the brows that can become more defined as the same expressions repeat.
Fine lines around the eyes shaped by smiling, squinting and sun exposure.
Fine lines around the mouth, sometimes called smoker's lines or lip lines.
Skin that no longer feels as smooth as it once did.
Lines influenced by ageing, sun exposure, dehydration, stress and collagen depletion.
In line with current TGA and AHPRA advertising guidelines, this list is general information only. Exact suitability and the most appropriate approach for you are determined in person during a consultation, not in advance online.

Start with our online consultation form, where you can describe your concerns and submit photos for assessment. Our team will review your details and recommend a personalised plan.
A session typically takes around 15 to 30 minutes, which makes it manageable around a busy schedule.
Most patients describe minimal discomfort, often compared to a quick pinch. Temporary redness, swelling or minor bruising can occur and usually settles within a few days. All potential risks are explained in full at your consultation.
Consultations are available to adults aged 18 and over. Suitability is assessed individually, taking into account your health history, skin and goals. This type of treatment is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
The aim of a personalised plan is to preserve natural movement. Your practitioner will explain what to expect for your own facial anatomy during your consultation.
Results and their duration vary between individuals and depend on a range of personal factors. We do not make specific claims, and any maintenance schedule is discussed with you in person.
Pricing depends on your individual plan and is discussed at your consultation. All costs are confirmed before any commitment, with no obligation to proceed.
In line with Australian healthcare advertising regulations and TGA requirements, we do not publish before and after images on this page. This protects consumers from potentially misleading content. Your practitioner can discuss what to expect in your individual case during your private consultation.
Some treatments may involve Schedule 4 prescription-only medicines. Under TGA regulations, these cannot be advertised or promoted directly to the public. A valid consultation with a registered health practitioner is required before any such treatment can proceed, and full product information is provided at that time.
